186k Student Ministry
186K is Family Worship Center’s student ministry. 186K stands for the speed of light (186,000 m/sec). Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” God shines His light into our hearts and then He calls us to be light to a dark world. Our goal as a ministry is to point students to the shining light of Jesus and then send them out to shine brightly in the world. We make it our goal to come alongside parents and help them in leading their students to be life-long followers of Jesus Christ.

Here are a few ways we do this:

1. Weekly Service:  Our weekly service for all students every Wednestay at 6:30pm.  A time of worship, teaching, prayer, and hanging out with other like minded students.

2. Cafe:  Students in both Middle and High School meet for Café on Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am for a time of teaching, table discussion, and fellowship.  (Middle School Only Cafe on Saturdays at 6:00pm!)

Special opportunities to grow and connect also take place each month, if you want more information on 186k Student Ministries check out their Facebook or contact our student pastor, Jeremy Chavez, at 719-568-3450 or Jeremy@teamfwc.org
